Yesterday a suicide bomber killed 26 people in a mosque near Maiduguri’s main market, a bomb has exploded in another market within the city, today. Eyewitnesses say four persons were injured.

Jonathan Signs Tobacco Control bill into Law

President, Goodluck Jonathan, has signed the Tobacco Control bill into law.

The president signed the bill alongside five others, his spokesperson, Reuben Abati, announced on Wednesday.
Other bills signed by the president include, National Sugar Development Council (amendment) bill, AMCON Amendment bill, Standards Organization of Nigeria Bill, Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency Act and Equipment Leasing bill.
